The Kelowna North neighbourhood encompasses the space surrounding the Highway 97 corridor at the North end of the city between the City Central/Rutland neighbourhoods (to the South) and the Municipal District of Lake Country (to the North). While much of the corridor is commercial and industrial space, the residential communities continue to grow and include Sexsmith Road, the University Complex around UBCO, and the golf community of Quail Ridge across the street and over the hill from the Kelowna Airport. Quail Ridge offers a tranquil setting with views towards North Glenmore to the West and Ellison and Black Mountain to the East.

Kelowna North has new retail centre with some amenities including shopping and dining, just minutes from both the University Complex and Quail Ridge communities. All the other amenities you need are just a short 5-minute drive away in the City Central neighbourhood. For recreation, there are two golf courses and a sports field in the neighbourhood, with plenty other options also just a short 5-minute drive away in Rutland including the Rutland Twin Arena and Kelowna Family Y.
