The City Central neighbourhood is a corridor running along Highway 97 bordered by Dilworth, Glenmore, and Downtown to the North, Pandosy, KLO, and South Kelowna to the South and Rutland to the East. It is just a 10-minute drive from beautiful Okanagan Lake to the West. The City Central neighbourhood is where you will find a lot of Kelowna’s shopping and restaurants, including Orchard Park Shopping Centre - the largest shopping mall between the Greater Vancouver Area and the City of Calgary, Alberta. Over the past decade there has been an increasing number of townhouse and condo developments in the area making this one of the most accessible and affordable areas in the city.
City Central is home to a handful of parks with playgrounds, greenspace, walking trails, and even an off-leash dog park. Mission Creek Regional Park is the largest as is popular with dog-walkers and cyclists. The Mission Creek Greenway, a 16.5km trail, runs through the park and continues all the way to Okanagan Lake.
