Dilworth Mountain is the most central, primarily residential, neighbourhood in the City. This makes it a wonderful place to raise a family. It is north of Highway 97 and can be accessed from Summit Drive at the West, Dilworth Drive at the South and Rifle Road to the North. Living on the mountain means nature is right next door. There are five parks on the mountain and it’s common to see wildlife like birds and deer. One of the parks features sports fields and a hockey rink. The beautiful Kelowna Golf & Country club sits at the base of the mountain to the Southeast. The Eastern and Northern edge of the mountain come down into the Glenmore Valley. There are numerous vineyards and orchards on the hillside and farms and ranchland as you go further into Glenmore Highlands. Glenmore and Central City provide all the amenities those living Dilworth Mountain need, just a short 5 minute drive or less from home. There are a number of elementary and one middle school also in neighbouring Glenmore.
