Glenmore Road is a major thoroughfare which also provides access to the McKinley Landing neighbourhood. There area is surrounded by hills, mountains, and greenspace with numerous parks and trails in the area for outdoor activities of many types. Glenmore has become popular with both young families and retirees.
Glenmore is home to two elementary schools and a middle school; high school students attend Kelowna Secondary School just a short 10 minute drive away (between about 4km and 10km away).
