Glenmore

The Glenmore neighbourhood is situated in a valley running between the Glenmore Highlands adjacent to Okanagan Lake and Dilworth Mountain and extends North from Highway 97 to the Municipal District of Lake Country. Glenmore Road is a major thoroughfare which also provides access to the McKinley Landing neighbourhood. There area is surrounded by hills, mountains, and greenspace with numerous parks and trails in the area for outdoor activities of many types. Glenmore has become popular with both young families and retirees.

Glenmore is home to two elementary schools and a middle school; high school students attend Kelowna Secondary School just a short 10 minute drive away (between about 4km and 10km away). The neighbourhood has a central shopping zone with all the amenities you need including: shopping, banking, restaurants, coffee shops, and more. Glenmore is also just minutes away from all the amenities of the City Central neighbourhood, a 10-minute drive from downtown and even a couple of Okanagan Lake’s fabulous beaches.

Clifton

The Clifton neighbourhood is a corridor just a quick 5-minute drive from Downtown. It runs North-South along Clifton Road from Clement Avenue up into the mountainous terrain of the Glenmore Highlands and surrounding McKinley landing (which is not yet accessible from Clifton Road). Much of Clifton is a mature neighbourhood, like the community of Magic Estates. There are also new developments like Sheerwater feature modern, luxury residences with lakefront properties. Clifton is a highly sought after neighbourhood because it is relatively quiet and tucked away from the business of the city but incredibly convenient. It is perfect for families and anyone that wants to be closer to nature.

Children from the Clifton neighbourhood attend elementary school and middle school close by in neighboring Glenmore. High school students attend Kelowna Secondary School just a short 10 minute drive away (between about 4km and 10km away). All the amenities you need including: shopping, banking, restaurants, coffee shops, and more, are just a quick 5-minute drive down the hillside in Glenmore and Downtown. There are lots of options.
